How do I place an order?
Browse our web site and find the product you are interested in. If you click on the price relating to the product and select the quantity you require, the product will be added to your Shopping Basket, where you will be shown the total cost including VAT and delivery.
Alternatively you can place your order by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the details of your order, delivery information and your contact information. Attach all necessary artwork and we will contact you to arrange payment. Please note that the online discount does not apply to emailed orders.
When will my order be ready?
Turnaround times are shown on the web site above each product's price matrix. This gives the number of working days before your order is delivered.
We always try to complete orders as soon as possible and they are often ready early. If you need us to commit to a quicker turnaround, please give us a call and it may be possible at no extra cost.
Is there a minimum order amount?
Your order must be over £20 before delivery or VAT.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments by credit and debit card and also by cheque. For card payments we accept Visa, Visa Electron, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Maestro and Solo. Cheques should be made out to JamJar Print Ltd and sent to our address on the contact us page.
If you are unconfortable with giving out your payment details online, please select 'Pay by Cheque' when ordering and call us to make the payment.
My payment has failed / been declined - what can I do?
Most often this is because the address you have provided when making the payment does not match the address where the statements are sent for your credit/debit card. We will have the details of your order, so please phone us to make your payment.
Why do I have to pay VAT on some products but not others?
The rules for paying VAT on printed goods are complicated and are outlined on the VAT tab above. Where possible, we automatically add or remove VAT based on these rules but in some cases the customer will have to decide for themselves.
How can I print an invoice for my order?
Log in to your account and select 'My Orders'. Click on the order number you require an invoice for and you will be given an option to view/print an invoice at the top right of the page.
For any orders over £40* a free delivery service is available within the centre of Bristol (BS1 - BS8), during normal office hours only. To take advantage of this option follow the steps below:
- When ordering online select the delivery option as "Collection"
- Once you have completed the ordering process please send an e-mail to email@example.com with your order number and a delivery address
- A member of our team will be in contact to arrange a delivery date
All other deliveries are handled by our dedicated couriers DPD, who provide a next day service on all packages. The minimum delivery cost is £6.50 +VAT; please note that all delivery costs will be shown in your basket before checkout.
Premium delivery services are available with DPD, such as pre-10:30am, pre-noon and Saturday deliveries. If you require one of these or wish to know a cost please contact a member of our dedicated team for advice.
How do you deliver orders?
All of our products are delivered by next-working-day courier. We usually use DPD to deliver our goods but for larger orders we can deliver pallets by courier.
How long does delivery take?
All products are delivered the working day after they are dispatched, which is included in the turnarounds we specify on our web site.
Can I collect my order?
You can collect your order from us and save on delivery charges (you can simply untick the checkbox next to the delivery charge in your shopping basket). Goods are generally ready for collection no later than 6pm on the day before we state they will be delivered but if you call us we can give you a more accurate time.
What are your shipping charges?
Shipping is calculated based on the weight of the goods you are ordering, but there is a minimum charge of £6.50 (ex. VAT). To see the delivery charge for a product, click on its price and it is displayed under 'Delivery' in your Shopping Basket.
Can you deliver on Saturdays?
We are able to arrange Saturday deliveries and will charge extra based on the incremental cost to us. This option is not available through our web site so please call or email us with your order.
Are your products/packaging branded in any way?
We do not use any kind of branding on our finished products or packaging so all of our goods are suitable for resellers.
Paying VAT on our Products
HM Revenue & Customs have specific rules on the payment of VAT for printed materials. Some of our products are VAT exempt depending on your situation but you must ensure this is the case before ordering.
Most flyers and leaflets are exempt from VAT but the following exceptions exist:
- VAT is chargeable if your Flyer or Leaflet is used as admission to premises.
- VAT is chargeable if your Flyer or Leaflet is used to obtain a discount on goods or services.
- VAT is chargeable if your Flyer or Leaflet has an area designed to be written on.
